This one week class runs Monday-Friday from 9:00 am-3:30 pm. It is a hands-on class that introduces kitchen equipment and sanitation, kitchen culture, barista basics, customer service, and basic culinary skills.
It will include Servsafe food handler and Allertrain certifications. The goal when the class is over will be to gain an entry-level, unionized job in the local foodservice industry.
