Event Details

This 3-hour course covers basic food safety, including: Personal Hygiene, Cross-Contamination, Allergens, Time/Temperature, Cleaning, and Sanitation. This course is for the food-handler level ServSafe certification.

After the class, students will have the opportunity to take the ServSafe Food Handler assessment, a 40-question test. Students must achieve at least a 75% score to receive the ServSafe Food Handler Certificate of Achievement, signifying that they successfully earned a certificate. The ServSafe Food Handler Certificate verifies basic food safety knowledge and is for individuals in food handler employee-level positions.

It is recommended that students who attend this class also take the AllerTrain Lite course, which will be offered from 9:00-11:00 at the same location.
