Alejandro is passionate about developing relationships and building communities. He believes that leading with empathy and curiosity is the key to creating a space in which people can feel empowered to be themselves and reach their full potential. Alejandro graduated with a B.S of Psychology at the College of William & Mary and a Masters Degree in Geographic Information Technologies from Universidad Complutense de Madrid. His work experience has varied from working in international public health projects as an analyst to being a line cook at a fast casual restaurant. With his wide range of experiences, he hopes to connect with the communities who could benefit from STEP’s programming and to enable them to take full advantage of the resources available to them. Outside of work, Alejandro is a professional beatboxer ranked amongst the top 16 in the USA and is leading the development of the local beatbox community in the DMV.
